Prohibited & Restricted Items Policy

Commerce categories that may not be offered or may require special approval
1. Purpose
Kominote prohibits illegal, unsafe, deceptive, infringing, or payment-provider-restricted commerce. This Policy applies to products, services, listings, posts, and transactions.
2. Prohibited Items and Services
- Illegal drugs and controlled substances offered unlawfully.
- Counterfeit goods, pirated goods, or items that unlawfully infringe intellectual-property rights.
- Stolen property or goods obtained through fraud.
- Human trafficking, exploitation, sexual services prohibited by law, or any child exploitation material or activity.
- Fraudulent identity documents, forged government documents, or stolen credentials.
- Illegal weapons, prohibited weapon components, or explosives.
- Malware, ransomware, hacking tools offered for unlawful use, stolen accounts, or unauthorized access services.
- Illegal wildlife products or other environmental contraband.
- Products or services whose sale is unlawful in the applicable jurisdiction.
3. Restricted Categories
Some categories may be lawful in certain jurisdictions but subject to additional restrictions, age verification, licensing, geographic limitations, enhanced seller verification, or complete prohibition by Kominote or its payment providers.
Examples of Potentially Restricted Categories
- Regulated health products or medical services.
- Financial, investment, lending, or money-services activity.
- Age-restricted goods.
- Alcohol, tobacco, nicotine, or cannabis-related products.
- Weapons or self-defense products.
- Charitable fundraising or regulated solicitations.
- High-risk travel, transportation, or regulated professional services.
4. Seller Responsibility
Sellers and providers are responsible for knowing and following laws that apply to their products, services, location, customer location, shipping destination, licensing, and age restrictions.
5. Payment Provider Restrictions
A product or service may be prohibited on Kominote even if lawful where offered when the applicable payment provider or banking partner does not support that category.
6. Enforcement
Kominote may remove listings, cancel transactions, restrict categories, require documents, suspend seller privileges, hold payouts where permitted, or terminate accounts for violations.
7. Reporting
Users may report prohibited or suspicious products and services through Platform reporting tools or by contacting support@kominotetechnologies.com.
